The women’s volleyball team suffered a 3-0 loss to Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic conference opponent from Aquinas.

Set scores were 25-11, 26-24, and 25-22. Leze Vukaj led Siena with 11 kills and four blocks. Carly Tillotson added 19 assists. Haley Mercy and Nicole Morgan sustained the defense with 20 and 10 digs.

Aquinas has a 7-0 run in the first set, taking the lead early on. In the second set, the Saints fought hard, tying the score at 23 before Aquinas claimed three of the final four points to take set two. Set three looked good for the Saints who were leading by five until Aquinas tied the score 11. This was the first of four ties during the set.

Aquinas won the third set with a 4-1 run, making it the final set of the day.
