Senior Jessica Behnke is a part of the Student Government council. During a recent meeting, she talked to the council about bringing back delivering candy cane grams.

Candy cane grams are when you get a candy cane and attached is a note card that you can write a little note and send it to anyone you’d like.

Behnke said, “My leadership class put this event on in high school and we all loved it!”

Behnke’s said her high school raised a lot of money and students were excited for candy cane grams to come back. She said it brought excitement to students for the holidays.

Behnke said, “Student Government cannot sell the candy grams, but we could have a stand in the cafeteria and have students send candy cane grams to others before we go on break.”

Behnke and her council said they think it is a great way to get ready for the holiday. She said Student Government is willing to make this work.
