From Feb. 12-14, the members of Siena Heights’ Creative Stages Youth Theater Program will present the production of “Robin Hood” in the Stubnitz Lab Theater. Directed by Joni Warner, this play follows the familiar storyline of the famous folklore tale, but has a few twists. The production is jam-packed with comedy and action, and even has a very unique song performances.

“At the end we are doing ‘What A Wonderful World’ all together as a cast,” said Madison Bohn, the cast member playing Little John.

This song will be performed entirely in American Sign Language. During each of the shows, an ASL interpreter will be present.

Although putting on such a spectacular production is hard work, many cast members said they have enjoyed their time on set.

“It’s really fun!” exclaimed Madeline McRoberts, another member of the cast.  Sharing McRoberts’ enthusiasm were Kelli Ostrander, Mary Coniskey and Seth Bagdon, who will also be a part of this innovative adaptation.

They said their time spent rehearsing and acting in “Robin Hood” has convinced them to be part of future plays.

Curtain time is at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 12 and Feb. 13 and at 2 p.m. Feb. 14.
