Men’s Cross Country @ GRCC Raiders Invitational
The Saints took 2nd place over all at the GRCC Raiders Invitational on Friday. Stephen Merchant finished first for Siena finishing in 6th place with a time of 26:51.0. Kyler Vanwormer finished in 7th place with a time of 26:53.8. Timothy Young placed 11th place with a time of 27:11.0.

Women’s Cross Country @ GRCC Raiders Invitational
The Saints took 1st place overall at the GRCC Raider Invitational on Friday. Ashley Russo finished in 1st place with a time of 18:42.2, Kristin Stobinski finished in 4th place with a time of 19:34.0, and Mariah Ridal finished in 6th place with a time of 19:44.3.

September 24
Baseball vs. Madonna W 5-1 & L 0-14
The Saints held a double header on Saturday against Madonna that lead to a win and a loss for the day. In the first game, the Saints took the win with a score of 5-1. Kyle Kuhr and Erich Klingelhofer split the pitches for the game. Kuhr pitched for five innings and allowed only one run and Klingelhofer allowed none. Bradley Connochie had a triple and Ryler Overacker and Brendan Green both had doubles. In the second game, the saints lost 14-0. Chris McKiddie, Taylow Acquista, Cameron Best, and Landon Lumbrezer all pitched for SHU. There were zero RBIs for the Saints.

Football vs. Saints Xavier W 30-29
In an exciting last minute push, the Saints took the victory from St. Xavier on Saturday night with a score of 30-29. Quarterback Lucas Barner passed for 193 yards during the game while Curtis Smith had 70 yards for receiving. Dont’e Fox had 54 rushing yards as well. Brady Tanguay went 3/3 on his field goal and extra point attempts. On the defensive side, Nate Yeloushan led with 12 tackles.

Men’s Golf @ WHAC Jamboree at Lenawee County Country Club
The Saints took 3rd overall in the WHAC Jamboree on Saturday. Robert Kowlenko tied for first with a 68. Wyatt Spalding finished with a 77 resulting in a four-way tie for 11th place.

Women’s Soccer vs. Madonna W 2-0
The Lady Saints performed for a shut out on Saturday and left the field with a win of 2-0. The first goal was made in the 40th minute of the first half by Kathryn Gordon and the second by Emily Loar in the 46th minute of the second half. Taylor Hill played in goal for the Saints and had three saves.

Men’s Soccer vs. Madonna L 8-1
The Saints suffered a loss to Madonna on Saturday with a score of 8-1. Madonna scored five goals in the first half and three in the second, but the Saints responded in the 89th minute of the game with a goal by Matt Lentine. Morgan Gardocki, Brandon Gonzalez, and Leo Hisamatsu all played in goal. Gardocki had two saves, Gonzalez had three, and Hisamatsu had one.

September 25
Baseball vs. Madonna W 6-4
The Saints finished the week with a win of 6-4 against Madonna on Sunday. Reid Olmstead, Tristan Roth, and Ben Finn all pitched for SHU. Olmstead allowed three runs, Roth allowed one, and Finn allowed zero. Bradley Connochie had three RBIs. Ryler Overacker and John Watts both scored twice.

September 26
Women’s Golf @ Cleary Invitational
The Saints competed in the Clearly Invitational on Monday and took 2nd place overall. Individually, Jessa Rappleye took 2nd with a score of 84 on the par 72, Ashley Bearden took 3rd place with a score of 85, and Lauren Cojei scored a 90 to place her in 8th.

Men’s Golf @ Cleary Invitational
The Saints places 5th overall at the Cleary Invitational on Monday. Nick Burnham and Nick Sanscrainte both shot an 83 to tie for 19th place.

September 28
Women’s Soccer vs. Concordia W 1-0
The Saints beat Concordia in a double overtime match on Wednesday with a score of 1-0. The lone goal of the game was scored by sophomore Danielle Eastman in the second overtime. Meghan Bogg played in goal was for Saints and had four saves.
Women’s Volleyball vs. Cornerstone L 1-3
The Saints unfortunately took home a loss of 3-1 after playing Cornerstone on Wednesday. Paige Hudgin led the team in kills with 13 and Gabrielle Kalugar lead the team in digs with 14. Amanda Mets had 29 assists on the day.
