October 7
Men’s Soccer vs. UM-Dearborn
The Saints suffered a loss to UM-Dearborn with a score of 4-3. The first goal of the game was made by Rahbar Khan 16 minutes into the game. About 54 minutes into the game UM-Dearborn scored two goals within a minute setting the score to 2-1. The Saints responded quickly with a goal by Rahbar only a little over a minute after UM-Dearborn’s goals, but that wasn’t it for SHU. Five minutes later Chris Ornelas scored to set the Saints up with a lead of 3-2. Then about eight minutes later UM-Dearborn scored to tie it up. Lastly, with a little over a minute of play left UM-Dearborn scored again off a header to seal the win. Leo Hisamatsu had four saves in the net.
Women’s Cross Country at Lansing Invitational
The Saints took third overall at the Lansing Invitational on Friday. Ashley Russo came in first for the Saints, but eighth overall at 19:21.7. Lauren McMahon finished in 12th at 19:42.4 while Kristin Stobinski finished at 19:55.4 and Mariah Ridal came in at 20:04.5.
Men’s Cross Country at Lansing Invitational
The Saints took fourth overall at the Lansing Invitational on Friday. Stephen Merchant finished first for SHU, but 15th overall at 27:07.1. Timothy Young finished at 27:32.2 and Kyle Vanwormer finished at 27:32.8.

Women’s Golf at WHAC Jamboree
The Saints placed fifth overall at the WHAC Jamboree. Alyssa Fausneaucht finished in first for the Saints with a score of 161 placing her in 10th overall. Andrea Richards placed 12th with a score of 162 while Ashley Bearden had a score of 166. Andrea Richards earned All-WHAC First Team honors.

October 8
Baseball vs. Rochester W 13-12 & L 8-2
In a back and forth game, the Saints completed an extra run to put them on top of Rochester for the win, 13-12. Brendan Backer and Ryley Overacker both had RBIs of 3. Kyle Kuhr started on the mound in the first five innings and then Erich Kilngelhofer finished off the win for the Saints. In the second game of the day the Saints lost 8-2. Chris McKiddie took the loss on the mound for the Saints while Kevin Ketvirtis and Ty Schafer scored the only two runs of the game for SHU.
Women’s Volleyball vs. St. Mary’s
The Saints swept St. Mary’s 3-0 in the first of two games. Paige Hudgin had 19 kills while Libby Breton had nine. Gabrielle Kalugar and Hudgin both had 13 digs on the day as well. In the second game SHU pulled another win from St. Mary’s with a score of 3-1. Libby Breton had 13 kills while Paige Hudgin had 11. Haley Oleson had 20 digs on the day.

October 9
Baseball vs. Rochester 
The Saints won the game in the 10th inning putting them up 3-2 over the Rochester Warriors on Sunday. J.r. Dawley and Emmanuel Gimenez both had 2 RBIs. Reid Olmstead pitched for the first eight innings and allowed eight hits and one run. Ben Finn and Erich Klingelhoffer both pitched an innings and neither allowed any runs.

October 10

Men’s Golf at Lourdes Invitational
The Saints took fifth place at the Lourdes Invitational on Monday. Nick Sanscrainte finished first for the Saints with a score of 81 on the 72 par placing him at 14th. Nick Burham and Wyatt Spalding tied for 18th with a socre of 83. Robert Kowalenko finished with a score of 84 to finish at 24th place.

Women’s Golf at Lourdes Invitational
The Saints took second overall at the Lourdes Invitational on Monday. Andrea Richards took thirs with a score of 78. Amber Dykstra took seventh with an 82 and Lauren Cojei took eighth with an 84. Ashley Bearden finished for SHU with an 87.

Women’s Volleyball vs. Spring Arbor
The Saints swept Spring Arbor on Monday with a score of 3-0. Paige Hudgin had 10 kills while Libby Breton and Taylor Felver both had six. Amanda Metz had 18 digs while Gabrielle Kalugar had 15.

October 12

Women’s Soccer vs Lourdes
The Saints shut out Lourdes on Wednesday with a score of 3-0. The first goal of the game was scored by Alexis Gainer in the 31st minute. Then in the second half Samantha Bartelotti scored off a pass from Erin Scheindel in the 64th minute and to top off the game Lourdes scored on themselves in the 62nd minute to put the Saints up 3-0. Meghan Bogg had two saves in goal.

Women’s Volleyball vs Lourdes
The Saints lost 3-0 to Lourdes on Wednesday. Paige Hudgin had seven kills and 11 digs on the day. Gabrielle Kalugar also had 11 digs while Libby Breton had six kills.
