August 17

Women’s Volleyball VS. Keiser. W 3-1.

The Saints won sets one and two by scores of 25-19 in both sets before dropping set three by a score of 25-22. After losing set three, the Saints took set four by a score of 25-16 to win the match, 3-1. Leading SHU with 17.5 points, 15 kills and 14 digs was Paige Hudgin. Adding 12 and 11 digs, respectively was Amanda Metz and Christine Tylutki.

 

August 18

Women’s Volleyball VS. Mount Vernon Nazarene (Ohio.) W 3-0.

The Saints won the first three sets by a score of 25-15, 25-22 and 25-15 to sweep the match for a 3-0 victory for Mount Vernon Nazarene. Leading SHU with 15 points and 13 kills was Paige Hudgin. Hudgin and Christine Tylutki each led the Saints with 10 digs, respectively.

Women’s Volleyball VS. Evangel. W 3-1.

The Saints took set one by a score of 25-21 before dropping set two 25-19. Siena Heights then came back to win the next two sets by a score of 25-18 and 25-21 to win the match by a score of 3-1. Leading SHU with 16 points and 16 kills was Paige Hudgin. Amanda Metz led the team with 17 digs.

 

August 19

Women’s Volleyball VS. Spring Arbor. L 3-2.

Siena Heights and Spring Arbor went back and forth, round after round before Spring Arbor held on for a 15-12 set five victory to win the match by a score of 3-2. Leading the way for the Saints with 15.5 points, 15 kills and 31 digs was Christine Tylutki. Gabby Kalugar and Amanda Metz added 28 and 21 digs, respectively for SHU.

Women’s Volleyball VS. Rochester. W 3-0.

The Saints bounced back by shutting out Rochester by scores of 25-20, 25-10 and 25-9 to sweep the match up by a score of 3-0. Leading the way for SHU with seven points, four kills, three service aces and 11 digs was Taylor Felver.

 

August 21

Women’s Soccer @ Missouri Baptist. L 3-2.

The Saints gave up two goals in the second half to drop a hard fought game to Missouri Baptist by a final score of 3-2. Scoring the two goals for the Saints were Samantha Bartelotti and Haylie Curtiss. Earning the loss for SHU was goalkeeper, Taylor Hill. Hill allowed three goals while making six saves in goal.

 

August 22

Women’s Soccer @ Lindenwood-Belleville. W 4-0.

The Saints were able to score two goals in each half and keep Lindenwood-Belleville off the board to earn a 4-0 victory. Scoring the goals for SHU were Erin Scheidel, Erika Dacanay, Paige Rachut and Madison Reyntens. Starting in goal and earning the victory for the Saints was Meghan Bogg, who made three saves before being relieved by Sophia Lentz, who added two saves.

 

August 30

Men’s Soccer @ Goshen. L 2-0.

The Saints allowed two goals in the second half to drop the contest 2-0 to Goshen. Leading the Saints with three shots was Brent Rodden and Enoch Tsibu-Beckson. Earning the loss was goalkeeper Morgen Gardocki. Gardocki allowed two goals while finishing with seven saves.

 

September 1

Women’s Volleyball VS. Lindenwood-Belleville. W 3-0.

The Saints shutout Lindenwood-Belleville and earned a 3-0 victory by winning the first three sets by scores of 25-15, 25-19 and 25-16. Leading the way for the Saints with 11 points and 9 kills was Christine Tylutki. Leading with 17 digs for SHU was Gabby Kalugar.

Women’s Volleyball VS. Spring Arbor. W 3-0.

The Saints won the first three sets by scores of 25-18, 25-19 and 25-20 to earn a 3-0 shutout victory over Spring Arbor. Leading the Saints with 15 points and 17 digs was Paige Hudgin. Hudgin and Elizabeth Breton added 10 kills apiece for SHU.

 

September 2

Men’s Golf @ Olivet College Lou Collins Memorial Tournament.

In the first round, the Saints shot a team score of 315. Leading the Saints with a 77 was Nick Sanscrainte. In round two, SHU completed the day with a 320 and Sanscrainte finished 75, to lead the team. Overall, Siena Heights finished with a total score of 635 to earn ninth place.

Women’s Golf @ Indiana Wesleyan Invitational.

Leading the Saints was Madisyn Reed, with a first round score of 81, while the team finished with a score of 336. In the second round, Lauren Cojei finished with a 79 while Reed shot an 80 to help the Saints finish with a round total of 329. Overall, SHU finished in seventh place with a score of 665.

Women’s Volleyball VS. Lawrence Tech. W 3-2.

The Saints won the first two sets, but dropped the next two. However, the Saints were just able to hang on in the fifth and final set by a score of 17-15 to earn a 3-2 match victory over Lawrence Tech. Leading the way for SHU with 15 kills, 15.5 points and 29 digs was Paige Hudgin.

Women’s Volleyball VS. Saint Ambrose. W 3-0.

The Saints cruised past Saint Ambrose by scores of 25-19, 25-14 and 25-15 to earn the 3-0 shutout over Saint Ambrose. Leading SHU with nine points and eight kills was Paige Hudgin while Gabby Kalugar led the team with 19 digs.

Football VS. Northwood. L 38-7.

The Saints fourth quarter touchdown was not enough to knock off Northwood, as the Saints fell to the Timberwolves by a score of 38-7. Lucas Barner Jr. completed 10-20 passes for 66 yards and a touchdown. Earning 32 yards on seven rushes was Dahvon Washington. Leading the SHU receivers with 24 yards and a touchdown was Deontae’ Rush. Leading the team with 438 yards on 11 punts was Aaron Wagner. E.J. Shaah and Logan Smith finished with 10 and 9 tackles, respectively, while Mitch Meger returned three kickoffs for 45 yards for the Saints.

Men’s Soccer VS. Mount Vernon Nazarene. L 2-1.

The Saints allowed two goals in the second half to blow a 1-0 halftime lead and take a 2-1 loss at the hands of Mount Vernon Nazarene. Scoring the lone goal for the Saints was Brent Rodden, which was assisted from Rahbar Khan. Earning the loss in net for SHU was Morgen Gardocki who allowed two goals and finished the contest with four saves.

Women’s Soccer @ William Carey. L 2-1.

The Saints comeback fell just short as they fell to William Carey by a final score of 2-1. Scoring the lone goal for the Saints was forward Ashley Strong as it was assisted from Kelsey Cheaney. Earning the loss in net for SHU was goalkeeper Meghan Bogg, who allowed two goals and finished the contest with eight saves.
