As COVID-19 cases continue to rise on campus, are you taking the right precautions?

Due to the recent surge of COVID-19 cases within the Siena Heights Adrian campus, the university will remain under High Alert until Nov. 10. The campus continues to encourage those who are not vaccinated to get vaccinated.

Students, before entering campus or exiting your residence hall, be aware of how you have been feeling. If faculty, staff or students are having flu-like symptoms such as a runny nose, cough, fever, headache, fatigue, loss of test or smell, call the COVID-19 Contact and Tracing Line at 264-7799.

Face coverings are still required when indoors, on campus, unless you’re alone in an office or inside your dorm, regardless of vaccination status. Face coverings are available at all entrances of the buildings. Social distancing in classrooms is set to be at least three feet or greater whenever possible.

To reduce the dining density, to-go meals are encouraged to be taken back to rooms.

COVID-19 may be annoying to hear about, but the Siena community must remember that it is still going on and thatdecisions are a huge factor in whether the university will be able to continue in-person classes on campus.
