This week Saint Across the Globe is Emmanuel Jimenez Jose Bastidas, who is from Venezuela. This is his first year at Siena Heights University .

Reporter: Can you tell me your full name and where are you from again?

Emmanuel: My name is Emmanuel Jose Jimenez Bastidas and I’m from Venezuela.

Reporter: What are your plans at Siena Heights University?

Emmanuel: My plans are to fulfill my dreams, which are to graduate in Biology.

Reporter: Why Biology?

Emmanuel: Because in the future I want to be a physiotherapist.

Reporter: Ok.Do you have a favorite song?

Emmanuel: Yes, I have many favorite songs but the one that I like the most right now is Forgiveness of Nicky Jam and Enrique Iglesias.

Reporter: And a favorite book?

Emmanuel: Yes, it is called ‘It’s not a matter of milk but attitude.’ The author is Carlos Saul Rodriguez and is about personal development.

Reporter: Interesting. And what do you like and not so far about this university?

Emmanuel: What I don’t like is the mandatory meal plan. I think it should be optional. Another thing I would like is online classes because there are times when you can’t attend classes for certain reasons. And also, it think would help some students to take more credit hours.
