Fall Convocation

Fall Convocation was conducted in St. Dominic Chapel Sept. 10.

It was predominantly for the class of 2019. First-year students were to dress in church attire for this occasion. When they sat down, they had a program on what would be going on during the ceremony.

Each of the freshmen got a candle, and it signified each individual student starting their “flame” at Siena. When Father John Grace told the freshmen to hold the candle high and not be able to see it, this meant wherever they go the candle will always be lit. They may not see it, but no matter where they are or where they go, they will be part of Siena even if they aren’t at Siena.
