Women’s Golf vs. Spring Arbor Invitational- 1st out of 7 teams
The Lady saints bring home a win from Spring Arbor. It came down to a fifth player tie breaker, giving the Saints an advantage over Aquinas and earning a team score of 342. Alyssa Fausneaucht shot an 81 and was runner up after a three-hole playoff with Aquinas’ top golfer, Alicia Flood. Andrea Richards was sixth (86) and Lauren Cojei was 9th (87).

Men’s Soccer vs. Madonna- 1-1, T
The men tie in double overtime against Madonna in some conference action on Friday. The solo goal for the Saints was scored by Lucas Hidalgo Carneiro in the second half. Brent Roden had the assist. Leo Hisamatsu had seven saves in the goal.

Women’s Volleyball vs. Marygrove- 3-1, W
The Saints topped conference opponent Marygrove in a 3-1 victory. Leze Vukaj compiled 17 kills and three blocks. Carly Tillotson contributed 41 assists and 11 digs.

October 3
Women’s Cross Country- 1st out of 9 teams
The Saints proved true to their 24th rank, taking home a win from Huntington Invitational and placing 5 runners in the top 10. Elaine Johnson finished second with a time of 19 minutes and 20 seconds. Ashley Russo was third with a 19:29, and Lucia Alfaro was fifth with a 19:34.

Men’s Cross Country- 2nd out of 9 teams
The men finished second at the Huntington Invitational. Tim Young +led the team in the eight kilometer race with a time of 27 minutes and 6 seconds, placing seventh. Dominic Muessig was close behind in 8th place (27:10) and Kyler Vanwormer was 22nd (27:54).

Women’s Volleyball vs. Indiana Tech- 3-0, W
The Saints swept their conference opponent and also ending their 17 match losing streak to the team from Indiana Tech. Leze Vukaj and Ashleigh Shay had 10 kills each and Carly Tilotson added 28 assists.

Women’s Soccer vs. Northwestern Ohio- 2-1, L
The Saints suffered a loss to third ranked Northwestern Ohio. Taylor Mulder scored the only goal for the team. Taylor Hill made three saves in the goal.
October 6th

Women’s Golf vs. WHAC Jamboree #2- 5th
Andrea Richards tied for second place at the end of the two day jamboree with a score of 155. Alyssa Fausneaucht tied for 14th with a 166, and Allison Ranusch was 22nd with a 171. The Saints tied for fifth with the team from Davenport, ending with a 664.

October 7

Women’s Soccer vs. Concordia- 1-0, W
The Saints win on a lone goal to scoot past their conference opponent from Concordia. Taylor Mulder scored the goal to help pave the road to victory. Meghan Bogg compiled five saves in the goal.

Men’s Soccer vs. Northwestern Ohio- 9-0, L
The men suffered an unfortunate loss to the sixth ranked team from Northwestern Ohio. The efforts of Leo Hisamatsu, Brandon Gonzalez, and Julio Bruna were not enough to stop UNOH. SHU was outshot 37-0.

Women’s Volleyball vs. Davenport- 3-1, L
The Saints fell short on Wednesday against Davenport in a conference match. The final score was 3-1. Leze Vukaj had 14 kills and three blocks. Carly Tillotson compiled 43 assis
