Saints Have Tough Loss Against Lourdes

On Sept. 27, the Siena Heights Saints women’s volleyball team fell short against Lourdes (Ohio) Gray Wolves in one of their Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) matches.

The Saints fell short in the first set with a score of 25-8.

For the second set, the Gray Wolves took the win with a score of 23-22.

The Gray Wolves took the match, coming away with a 3-0 win with the final set score of 25-18.

Sophomore Alli Conly led the Saints defense with 12 digs in the loss. Sophomore Janel Ruhlman and senior Eriona Chambers tied with five kills each.

On the opposing team side, junior Emily Drenth led the Gray Wolves with 19 kills in the win. Senior Angelica Dippold led the Gray Wolves with five service attempts.
