Siena Heights Volleyball Beats Concordia

Siena Heights Saints 3, Concordia Cardinals 1: The Siena Heights women’s volleyball team extended to a four-game winning streak against Concordia (Mich.) on Oct. 26 at Cardinal Field House in Ann Arbor, Mich.

In the first set, the Cardinals took the lead in the first set resulting in a 25-20 win. The Saints fought back and won the second set 25-23. Siena started the third set with a 4-0 run, which they built up to take the set with a score of 25-19. The Saints finished the fourth set and took the win with the final score being 25-20.

Janel Ruhlman led the Saints attack with 14 digs and 13 kills to record a double-double on the evening. Allie Conly also recorded a double-double with a team-high of 21 digs, and she added 11 kills. The team had a total of 10 blocks and 85 digs to finish off the sets.

For the Cardinals, Kaitlin Veihl helped the attack with racking up 31 assists on the evening. Delaney Bennet led the Cardinals with 15 kills and 16 digs. The Cardinals finished with eight blocks and 90 digs on the evening.
