The Saints’ women’s volleyball team took a tough 3-1 loss against Northwestern Ohio at home on parent night.

Coming out the Saints trailed 21-13 before they went on an 8-0 run to bring the score to 22-21. Both teams traded points, but the Saints came out on top 28-26 to take a 1-0 lead.

In the second set, the Saints again trailed behind 23-18 but they will tie the game up at 24. The teams went back and forth before Northern Ohio scored three points straight to win set to tie things up 1-1.

During the third set, both teams kept it close before NW Ohio would go up 20-16. The Saints tied the game at 22, but NW Ohio scored six straight points for the win which put them up 2-1.

In the fourth set NW Ohio came out on top and it stayed that way. The Saints tried to make a come back but it would not be enough. NW Ohio would finish 25-16 for the win 3-1.

The Saints will face the Lawrence Tech Blue Devils in the last regular season match up Nov. 9.
