Siena Heights 71, Cornerstone 56: Siena Heights continues to win after beating Cornerstone at home, 71-56.

Cornerstone (1-9 overall, 0-2 WHAC) kept the game close in the first half by shooting 50 percent from the field and played good defense.

Siena Heights (5-0, 3-0) went on two 6-0 runs to keep the lead in the second half. The Saints maintained the lead in the fourth quarter to come out with the win.

Demi Russell led the Saints with 16 points, four rebounds, and one block.

Shelby Nyboer led Cornerstone with 18 points and seven rebounds.

Cornerstone shot 37.5 percent from the field with 36 rebounds, 13 assists, and 19 turnovers.

Siena shot 43.5 percent from the field with 35 rebounds 14 assists, and eight turnovers.

The Saints face Madonna Nov. 23.
