Game Review: Godzilla VS

Game Review: Godzilla VS

If you have enjoyed watching the Godzilla movie’s created by Toho, then you will definitely want to tryout the Godzilla VS.

One would think a game about a giant radioactive dinosaur that spends half its time destroying cities for fun and the other half duking it out with other bizarre monsters and robot versions of itself would be pretty boring, because it’s like previous Godzilla games that were released after a few years after 2000 began. Well, I hate to brake it to you, but you are wrong.

Godzilla VS is the one game that brings out the best monsters in Godzilla series from Toho and 2014. This game includes the best monsters from all three Toho series of Godzilla along their strongest attacks and their own intros.

The monsters from series one were: Jet Jaguar, Hededorah, Mechagodzilla and Anguirus. From series two there is the 90s Godzilla, King Ghidorah, Mecha King Ghidorah, Battra (both larva and final form), Mothra (both larva and final form), Biollante, Space Godzilla, Destoroyah, and Super Mechagodzilla.

From series there is Gigan, and type 3 Kiryu. Of course, the military is also included along with four unique military ships, which are called the Super X’s I, II and III and the Gotengo. Since the game was released in 2014, as an added bonus, the 2014 Godzilla was added to the game as well.

The prefers modes I like playing on this game are God of Destruction, King of the Kaiju, and Evolution mode because all three are story modes. But the only differences from the three modes are that in God of Destruction, you play as the 90s Godzilla.

In King of the Kaiju, you can choose any of the Kaiju you have unlocked and play them as a defender or an invader.

In Evolution mode, you work through at least five battles that are timed to see how long it takes you to defeat the enemy, and you can play as any of the Kaiju you have unlocked. An interesting thing about the Kaiju: I am able to unlock also related to their powers. This thing about the powers is that I can evolve their powers with points I earn from the battles as well as unlock other Kaiju.

Godzilla is my favorite to watch in action in all of his movies and some of the other Kaijus as well. Since his 2014 movie was released I had to admit that is was pretty awesome.

And speaking of movies, the new Godzilla movie King of the Monsters will be in theaters on May 31, and I am definitely planning on see it.
