Two Siena Heights University alumni finalized and opened the newest “hot spot” in downtown Adrian.

Brett and Krista Cotton, the owners of Cotton Brewery, as well as the Rice and Barley Taphouse, have taken on a new adventure of serving specialty coffee in their newest endeavorm Copper House Coffee Co. This new coffee house features a hand-made roaster, Espresso Machine, an Oji Cold Drip, as well a table side French Press.

Copper House provides hand-selected beans from the around the world from the most natural and organic places on earth.

The Cottons said they traveled from Oregon to Peru to learn the ins and outs of coffee brewing to give their customers an experience they will never forget.

Inside Copper House, one can view the beautiful art designed by local muralists, as well as a view into the backroom roaster. The entire aesthetic of Copper House Coffee Co. is inviting to not only the residents, but the students that reside in Adrian as well.

They provide many tables as well as a small lounge area towards the back perfect for studying or just spending a quiet morning/afternoon with friends and family.

Copper House Coffee Co. is already known for not only their delicious coffee but their handcrafted pastries and snacks. Customers can sign up for their rewards program, which not only gets them free coffee, but also a chance to pick up some of their merchandise!
