With all the hustle and bustle, quarantining, protesting, mask-wearing and adapting to the new way of life in 2020, there was one thing that kept us entertained and getting through the long days: Music. Music was the savior of 2020.

Everyone has their different tastes in music and likes to listen to music for their own reasons. In the end, no matter what music you listen to, you get something from it. At least in my experience, music has always been there as an outlet to express myself. That’s exactly what we needed while trying to get through 2020 a way to express and entertain ourselves.

While the struggles of 2020 made it difficult for artist to produce music, it did not stop them. Artists got creative and did what they could to bring and deliver new music throughout 2020. But what were the best hits of 2020?

There are many sources out there who have long lists of what they consider to be the best hits of 2020.

Even though each list differs they have some of the same songs listed in close order. The sources that I used to compile my list are: Rolling Stone, Official Charts, Billboard, and NPR.
