Alpha Koney Island is a local restaurant located in Adrian. It has phenomenal prices and a large menu.

This is a sit-down restaurant, so you wouldn’t expect it to have a drive-thru, but it does!

Another expectation you may have about a sit-down restaurant with a drive-thru would be that you are going to be in the drive-thru for a long time while your food is made. But that was not the case during my visit.

There were two cars in front of me, but both had already ordered. I ordered at 1:25 p.m. and was driving away with my food at 1:31 p.m. I don’t know how they did it, but it was very fast.

I also noticed that if someone’s food is done, but they have not yet made it to the window, an employee will walk their food out to them and process their payment while they are in line so they can leave.

I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich on a pretzel bun, and the person who came with me ordered the bacon cheeseburger with fries. Both were phenomenal, especially the fries.

The prices are extremely reasonable, too. Our total came to $16 and some change for the burger, chicken sandwich and fries.

I do also want to note that the menu on the board near the speaker does not include their full menu, but you can still order whatever you want. If you want to see everything they offer, you can look up their full menu online.

Finally, the service was great as well. The lady at the window was very friendly and welcoming, and the two employees I saw were wearing masks.

I enjoyed every aspect of my drive-thru experience at this restaurant, and I will definitely be returning!
