Saints Volleyball Swept by Aquinas

On Nov. 1, the Siena Heights women’s volleyball team fell to Aquinas 3-0 at the Siena Heights Fieldhouse for a Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic conference match.

The Saints lost to Aquinas in the first set with a score of 25-16. For the second set, Aquinas also took the set with a score of 25-13.

The third set wasn’t much different as the Saints also fell to Aquinas with a score of 25-22.

For Siena, Janel Ruhlman led the offensive effort with a total of eight digs and five kills. Carrigan Gray had 10 assists for the Saints, and she also finished with four digs, four kills, a block and a service ace. For the Saints they had a total of five blocks and 47 digs.

For Aquinas, Payton Klien led Aquinas with 12 kills. Kali Crawford led the team with 37 assists and 13 digs in the win against the Saints. For Aquinas, they had a total of six blocks and 64 digs to end the night.
